Finally, the first three Harry Bronson mystery thriller and suspense series all together in one convenient package.

Read the first in the series, Why Casey Had to Die, where a cold case and geocashing meet head to head. Follow it with When Death Intervenes, Bronson's journey that brings him face-to-face with a string of suspects and a ruthless killer who threatens to destroy all that Bronson holds dear. Finish it with the third book, When the Past Haunts You, a book that goes beyond the simple mystery and suspense novel. It explores family relationships, bitterness, and forgiveness. If Bronson is to solve his sister’s murder and ultimately become a decent human being, he must confront yesterday’s ghosts that hound him.

All three of these police procedural novels are guaranteed to keep you glued to your seat as its many twists and turns unfold.

I couldn’t stop reading this action thriller. At the end of each chapter, I told myself that I would read one more chapter and then put the book down. After a few chapters, I didn’t bother to tell myself I would put the book down. I was hooked and couldn’t stop until I found out Why Casey Had to Die.

For Bronson, this was going to be an easy assignment. Find Roger and Norma, the teens that stole an important book and return it to its original owners. But when Bronson locates the book, Roger reveals the truth behind the book's existence-a truth so shocking that Bronson is forced to help them escape.

Then Ellen, his partner's ex, gets kidnapped and Bronson is forced to decide who he will save: Ellen or two stranded teenagers who look up at him for their survival. Who will he choose? His decision will determine who lives-and who dies.

The story line is really good. I never saw the end coming. The book had me rushing through it on pins and needles! Excellent. Definitely worth my reading time.

Dear Harry Bronson Readers:
I've received lots of e-mails asking how and why the detective in my mystery series, Harry Bronson, got fired. Up to now, there’s been no place to send you. All you know is that between What Others Know and Why Casey Had to Die, Bronson gets fired. You wonder what happened. I’ve decided to remedy that by writing the short story, “End of the Road.” The setting takes place after Bronson leaves Las Vegas where he was vacationing and returns home to Dallas. Enjoy!

Hayden's knack for gripping the reader is undeniable.
